I tried getting a kitty and the lady I talked with told me they don't let people adopt cats or kittens to a family with no other cats in the house. Even after my application got approved seemed like she didn't want to adopt any of the cats or kittens to my family. We have no cats pretty sad. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Adoption process was super simple and we were contacted very shortly after submitting the application. They really worked with us because we needed a playful kitten for our 7 month old kitten. Cathy and Mary were a dream team to work with too, they kept us updated and sent photos as well. I would adopt with them in the future!!

I adopted my cat from here, and I think it is a great local shelter. Since there are so many cats that need good homes, a large portion of cats are in foster homes. The description for these cats can be found online and you can arrange a time with the foster parent to meet with the kitty you're interested in. I think they take great care of their cats. They make sure to spay and neuter their cats. They also make sure that they get the medical attention that they need. As part of the adoption process they gave me all of the medical papers regarding my kitty so that I would be sure to remember when she needed her booster shots. Their adoption process is very thorough in order to make sure that you will be a responsible pet owner. Some of the questions they asked were "What will you do if your significant other is allergic?" or "What will you do if you move to a new location that doesn't allow cats?". They will also follow up with you after the adoption to see how things are going. The kitty that I adopted here has been a wonderful addition to my little family, and has made her way into my heart. If I was looking to adopt again, I would definitely come back here.

These people LOVE their cats! Unfortunately, sometimes that makes it difficult to adopt from there, because I swear they want to keep all the cats for themselves. If you can manage to visit when they're open go visit!
